Force motors

The EPS of Eicher has had a CAGR of 64.6% over the last four years. The PE multiple is 69.8. The all important PEG works out to 1.08, which indicates tht provided earnings grow at this rate, the share is fairly valued. But is there any guidance that the EPS growth will be sustained at such a scorching pace ?

Keep in mind that JLR sales is a large component of Tata Motors. About 50 % of JLR sales are Diesel engine vehicles. This is not great news given the possible structural decline of Diesel engines post the VW fiasco.

Ya have been watching its rally. 9% up today after ~ 8% yesterday. Up ~120% in last 3 months

Its amazing. Stock cant re-rate so much just on the news of the BMW tieup. I suppose like is the case always - the so called 'value investors' / ' investment gurus' must be jacking up the price.

Any market correction ( and there will be one soon : atleast when Fed rate hike concerns come back) and the stock will go down to sub 2000 like it did the last time around

 

Yes. It is very disquieting the way it has been surging. According to IndiaNivesh, the stock has a target price of Rs. 10,000 by 2020!

 

Force Motors is DOWN 12% BEFORE RESULTS DUE ON 24.10.15. This means results are BAD???

What is an EQAX score?

 

It means there are lot of investors sitting on good gains and who are nervous about Force maintaining this growth rate. Always a problem when looking at high growth shares that spurt too fast. Either you are in and don't look at Q on Q numbers or you are out. Else life starts getting uncomfortable.

 

My question too. How do you compute it. Is a high score good or bad?

 

There is a lot of hype over the BMW and Mercedes deals. If the quarterly results don't support the hype, the stock can come crashing down.

 

I think it is a marketing gimmick for some analytics tool ( the score, I mean)

 

I have said this before and say it again...the scrip has run up too fast and buying at these levels is risky irrespective of what daljeet kolhi has to predict for 2020.

Force can never be another Eicher which he proclaims it will be.

 

I entered at 1200/- a year ago and have started exiting already....
