stock in real estate and construction sector

Please suggest good stocks in Real estate and contruction sector for long term...

I want to start SIP in this sector for long term....

I have some stocks in my radar like:
Anantraj
Godrej Properties
Oberoi reality
Ansal

If you are looking in infra, then maybe you can look at Arvind Infra as well. Seems like already rallied too much, but wait for a correction and add.

 

Also look at MBL Infra and IRB Infra.

 

SOBHA DEVELOPERS SEEMS TO BE GOOD BET IN REALTY SECTOR ON 3-5 YEARS PRESPECTIVE

 

It has to be DLF

It is available at book value and the promoter stake is now touching 75%

 

U may consider om metal and infraproject.though porinju is very vocal about anantraj he never mentions OM.i think he is still in accumulation stages of this stock

 

Godrej Properties is the best pick. Will not give you "multibagger" returns. But will make your money appreciate faster than bank FD. If you are planning to invest in realty space make sure you consider Godrej Properties seriously. Oberoi is the second best pick.
The realty sector is full of uncertanities and challenges. Many companies are stuck in debt trap. Make sure you do not invest in junk stocks for making superlative returns. Stick to quality names

I think Tier 2 cities developers will do better than metro citities developer because of affordable housing. We should look at Kolte-Patil, Sobha, Ashiana and Poddar Developers IMHO.

 

This could be a great invesment !!!
