GST to be implemented from april 1, 2016

It can never be 1st April 2016. We are already in Dec 2015. Lot of paperwork is required. So 1st April 2017 is earliest.

 

No - bill is already ready and only it needs to be passed in lok sabha and rajya sabha. only problem is majority of ruling party in rajya sabha to pass the bill. reqd majority is 2/3 .

 

Right Mukherjee sir. As on date BJP has not been able to get the GST Bill cleared. Both the parties have agreed to sit down and discuss in the matter very seriously. But whether these discussion will be fruitful or not. Can't say. Even if BJP is successful in getting the GST Bill cleared, as you said "Lot of paperwork is required. So 1st April 2017 is earliest."
