can we discuss special situations opportunities?

one could say companies with - business restructuring, de-mergers, buybacks, M&A, special dividend, spin-offs, takeover bids, distressed, cyclical, contrarian or event-driven situations

some examples that i can cite from my current investments - Max India (demerger), Amtek Group (distressed), Metals (contrarian/cyclical)

i'm sure there's a lot of corporate development happening and a lot of M&A activity too, if you have some special situation stocks, share your ideas

don't know if it should be in this sub-forum but don't see it in stock picks of wizards either

 

TCI is candidate for this because of value unlocking due to demerger of xpress division. Stock will shoot up when demerger takes place

 

completely forgot it, have it in my watch-list, but bought other from logistics - Allcargo & Snowman
will look to buy TCI this month
