FIIs have a set of blue-chip stocks which are their favourites. When they sold $30 Billion so far in 2022, these stocks bore the brunt & plunged. However, now the FIIs are coming back and will buy the same stocks again. Experts have advised us to position ourselves in these stocks in advance

Vijay Kedia pointed out that FIIs have been investing in India for the past 30+ years and their aggregate investments are close to $500 Billion. The sum of $30 Billion that they withdrew in the past few months is merely a tiny fraction of that. It is obvious that the FIIs have immense confidence in Indian stocks.

"The Real game will begin when FIIs turn into buyers and DIIs will continue to be buyers," he said.

The indications are that the FIIs are turning buyers again.

Yesterday itself, they bought stocks worth Rs. 1046 crore. In fact, their buying over the past few weeks has propped up the Nifty by a hefty 9%.

It can be seen that they are buying the same stocks which they had sold earlier, such as ICICI Bank, SBI, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC, HDFC Bank, GRASIM etc.

According to Navneet Saluja D'Souza of Compcircle PMS Fund, the FII holding in HDFC Bank, HDFC and HDFC Life had shown deep cuts of nearly 6%. It is most probable that these stocks will become hot favourites of the FIIs again.

These stocks are all-weather blue-chip stocks. We can buy these stocks now and hope for them to rise.Even if the FIIs do not come back in a big way, we are unlikely to lose any money on these stocks.
