Recent stress test done by RBI highlights failure of the PSU bank's in credit growth and managing the NPA's consistently. Due to higher NPA levels, PSU bank's credit growth has taken a hit in last 2 years. Gross NPA's have climbed to above 7% till now and further also can increase a bit till year end. In PSU space, banks such as SBI and Bank of Baroda, Punjab National are good banks which are at the moment undervalued and backed by a strong management and investors can buy these names on every declines.
