    I have 5000 SAIL in my Portfolio bought at the rate of 80. Can anyone Pls advice.

    Dude...sold it on bounce...SAIL is good company but invest in some other stocks like IDFC,ICICI,INFY,Persistent sys,REPCO,CAP FIRST etc company..(my personal view)

    if you want to buy PSU buy PSU banks (SBI, BOB, PNB, Canara, Andhra Bank) or OMC (HPCL, BPCL) for a 3 year horizon

    Yes, having a PSU in the portfolio and that too one involved in the commodity space is not a good idea in the present scenario.

    If you are keen on PSUs, then an option is the GS CPSE ETF. It is a basket of Navratna stocks like ONGC, GAIL, Coal India, REC, OIL, IOC, PF C, Concor, Bharat Electronics and Engineers India. All are quality stocks in their own right and offer stability of capital and reasonable returns.
