Need Help in constructing a long only portfolio

Friends:

Need your help here!. I am building long only fund for the next gen. I want to start early so that, this fund can meet major milestone based expenses in the future. Can you suggest if the following will be good enough?

• If this can be a equity only fund (I am more inclined towards this)
• Thinking of a 50:30:20 exposure to Large Cap: Mid Cap: Small Cap [ Large Cap will have 1 stock each from Banking, Pharma, Tech, Infra............. Any Reco here?]
• The portfolio will consist of only 10 stocks
• No debt? (Wise decision?): Given that we will be in a lower rate regime

I don't mind being invested for the next 15 years. Any suggestions here on the structure and most importantly some reco: around stocks?

In large cap presently I like HDFC bank,LIC housing Ultratech Cement.
