SEEPCO has four oil blocks in Nigeria. At present, the group has confirmed oil reserves of 350 million barrels and one trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

on Mar 21, 2013 : The state-run company`s overseas arm, ONGC Videsh Ltd, has signed a confidentiality agreement for the possible acquisition of 25-30% stake in four blocks in Nigeria from Sterling Energy and Exploration Production Company (SEEPCO), a privately held Indian firm that operates the blocks. "Due diligence is on. The value of the deal can be up to $2 billion," a source involved in the negotiations told ET.

Cost of crude production in Nigeria is below $20, and sterling is increasing efficiency which means cost will fall further.

20 times in 2 years? The yearly limit on BSE is Rs 3.98! That's like 60 paise from the current price.

Reminds me of Karuturi & Varun Inds. (expansion into oil & gas and uranium blocks from trading steel utensils)
