Tilak Nagar industries

Any reason why Tilak Nagar Industries is going down? The company has 10 years compounded sales growth of around 26% and compounded profit growth of 48%. The book value is Rs. 45 while the stock languishes at a price of Rs. 22 per share with a nearly 3 % Dividend yield.

The negatives could be: Tilaknagar Industries is fighting a legal battle with Kishore Chhabria's Allied Blenders & Distillers over marketing rights for the Mansion House brandy.

At the same time there were quite a few buyers interested in buying Tilaknagar Industries but the deal has so far not materialized.

Tilaknagar Industries sold 16.13 million cases in 2013-14, up 17 per cent from the previous year. The company has Mansion House, Brigadier No 1, Vorion No 1 (brandy), Madiraa, and White House (both rum). Its other brands include Senate Royale whisky and Courrier Napoleon brandy.

main important point is "Heavy debt " problem

latest annual result is in loss , so stock is in a week condition .....
