    Which stock is good to invest for 1-2 years horizon?

    I don't think the two stocks are comparable. While Bayer Cropscience is a large-cap blue chip MNC engaged in manufacture, Sharda Crop is a small cap with no manufacturing assets. Their risk profile and reward potential are also vastly different.

    There is an initiating coverage report by IDFC Institutional Securities which calls Sharda Cropchem an "outperformer". The entire business model of the company is explained in detail.

    If you are looking for stocks in the agro-chemical space, you should also read the detailed coverage by Karvy on three stocks, Insecticides, Excel Crop and Dhanuka Agritech.

    Everything is good in both stock but stock price is so high right now. ::)
