Ksolves – a newage software development firm (03-12-2023)
Hey @lovekesh_thakur
I am assuming you are from IT background… so asking you to checkout this – Search | LinkedIn (Kodylabs employees).
Just have a look at 5-6 profiles of their employees – do you think it is great? Isn’t the skills of people here average too? In fact their co-founder Manav Patel is having only 8 years of experience compared to the leadership team of Ksolves all of them have 15+ years of IT experience. In fact, employees in Ksolves have better technical skills.
I am not vouching in favour of Ksolves, but asking you again… what makes you think they are doing average development? What is the benchmark here?
Supriya Lifescience Ltd – pure play API (03-12-2023)
On the inconsistent margins, company has been informing in con calls that the different products has been introduced recently and the product mix that got sold in q1 and q2 is different. Hence based on the product mix it is inconsistent. However Saloni wagh was mentioning that they will try to maintain around 20 to 25. Currently their products are seasonal impacting. They are working on new products to reduce that as well.
One more great thing I have noticed is they have started bringing in key personnel in different positions to make organisation strong in r and d part and in production.
I guess this will take 2-3 quarters to show some change in numbers to be visible.
Lastly, the management started giving reduced guidance, down playing of actual situation. Looks like management has become sensible to stock market, a sign of maturity in their approach.
Disclosure: invested and my opinion might be biased.
CFO vs Net Profit (03-12-2023)
Hey- WC intensity for this business is higher as compared to FA. In turn, Receivables and Inventory consume a reasonable chunk of Operating CF whereas DA gives back miniscule amount. Hence, the gap.

CFO vs Net Profit (03-12-2023)
OCF = NI + D&A – NWC where NI is net income, D&A is deprecation and amortization and NWC is net working capital.
Check the depreciation, amortization and net capex. I think in case of Guj Themis, over the years, capex would have been higher.
CFO vs Net Profit (03-12-2023)
Hello fellow investors,
I have been reading this forum for last few days and I find it highly insightful going through the various topics. This is my first post here and I hope to be a regular contributor going forward.
I have a question on Gujarat Themis Biosyn. I was going through the financials of the company and found it clearing all boxes in terms of sales growth, profits, ROCE, ROE, D/E ratio, etc. Company has given very good results over the last 10 years of its journey.
I am however finding it difficult to grasp the difference between the Net Profit and CFO over the last 10 years. Particularly, Cumulative CFO over 10 years (Rs. 111 Crores) has been way less than Cumulative Net Profits (Rs. 184 Crores). Company is debt free since last 3-4 years.
Can someone throw light as I understand the CFO should be higher than Net Profits?
Thanks in advance.
