On a sunday morning, a motley group of bird lovers gather to admire the flamingos who have made the polluted bay of Mumbai at Sewri their unlikely residence. The Government wants to build a bridge on the spot. This has understandbly upset the environmentalists and bird lovers who fear that such a measure will spell the death knell for the flamingos. The Greens are fighting a vigourous campaign and hope that public opinion will cause the Government to change its plans.
