@kharb sir do you remember what was the market cap of L&T at ipo in 1989? ??

 

it's common sense ... But which ironically is on display sparingly. The pnl is the aggregation of all individual toothpastes, brushes, biscuit packets, grocercies, shirts etc you buy, even hotel rooms you stay in when you travel on work or holiday. If i hold ITC and not Indian Hotels, why should i book myself or Why should my company contract with Taj?

Consumer preferences are key. I have for long followed this principle whenever feasible... Thus in ways ( even though miniscule) contributing to the success of the companies i am a shareholder in

 

Sir, examples will help me more to understand. Be kind enough to do that.

Age on my side???? Whoever told you this my friend? How old do you think i am? I know i certainly am not young.

Examples of innovative companies ...( if they fit into your advice) in my view are : 3M and TCS. Tata Motors too for some experts...
