only 9 stocks remain in bse sensex today that were in sensex in 1991.so be careful when you select stocks for 10-15 years.banks and consumer companies are good for really long term.From the list Zee, HDFC bank, Heritage, Berger,Brittannia , suven, guj gas are the ones i like for 2040.

2040 is too far. I will replace Heritage with Kwality and Suven with Lupin and Granules.
