I agree. You can find better stocks to invest like ITC, Caplin labs, NOCIL, Prima plastics etc.

You appear to be on right conclusion.But, my line of thinking is a bit different for short term positions. I prefer to take position when stock is already in confirmed uptrend.For that I look at chart for guidance.

 

For investment positions,I prefer to buy unpopular , ignored names,where I see value. With no disrespect meant to your picks, all of them are already well known.One relevant quote from Buffett is' You pay very high price in the stock market for cheery consensus'
