parin skm still looks good at 178 levels.is it?

 

I tend to share your view.

 

SKM has started its dream run from 6-7 levels around 15-16 months back.
It still looks good for long term investors.
It has a niche presence in speciality egg products.
Has many top MNC customers.
Management quality is top class.
Financials steadily improving.
Patience is required.

 

Richa Industries is making new highs after very long time...it is a very good pick to add

I am.not tracking it fundamentally.

Technically looks good on the charts. Has given a good breakout. Can be bought at CMP 49 for targets of 51.40- 52.35 and 54.15
Keep a stop loss below 47.65.
Will have to watch the deliverable volumes at the end of the day to comment further.
This is only a technical view. Please consider fundamentals also before acting on it.

Few of my recent short term trading stories. I am not an expert in TA. I have been tracking all these scripts from last Aug. 40 % cash in my portfolio I used for short term trading. NB: intraday - Never, allergic to that after burning hands, legs everything.

1) Sri KPR ind - Bought at 26rs, sold at 34 rs.
2)HIMATSINGE seide - Bought at 205rs, sold at 240 rs.
3) Indian acrylics Bought at 9rs, sold at 14rs.
4)Renaissance Jew. Bought at 125rs, sold at 170rs. Again bought at 160rs.
5) shilp gravures. Bought at 85rs, sold at 110 rs.
6)Arrow coated.Bought at 710rs, sold at 850 rs.
7)Majesco. Bought at 640rs, sold at 750 rs.

Still not achieved targets.
1) Jubilant LS . Buy at 405. Waiting.
2) Nitin spinner. Buy at 70
3) IGPL. at 140, holding since Q2 results. Trapped.
4) JB CHEM. Buy at 270. Target of 330+ after q3. Waiting..

In the above bets, Rjew and HIMATSINGE I was very confident.Thought of sharing here. Did not do that as I don't have answers for all questions asked here. joking. No insult meant..

 

SKM egg products I was not aware of. Fair play considering good q3.

Now I will tell a small risk (due to share trading in only uc/lc) bet which I have right now.
Mangalam drugs. Bought at 390. Got trapped after LC. Averaged to 220 levels. Target - HUGE..Waiting..
Few loss stories.
1)SBI- Bought at 260. Sold at 250.
I really like the member who advice here not to buy PSU stocks.
2)HPCL- Bought at 785, sold at 800. After holding for long time. Very small gain; I treat it as loss.
3)CPCL - This burned my pocket. Bought at 230, sold at 205.
I was not having the guts to hold till q3 due to Chennai floods & irrespective of crude at 11 yr low, they are reporting inventory losses..Too sad na.. God knows whether q3 will be good or not..

 

any new trading ideas friends?

 

Had some strategies in place for Q3 results. Nothing worked out apart from Mangalam Drugs - Bought at 230 average & sold at 300. Now again the script is bought down to 150 levels buy operator. Planning to add few in thin quantity.

Market played a spoil sport & even share price companies with good Q3 did not move much..

 

@ w4wealth: Market has corrected a lot. Many scripts are down by 30 to 40%. If market bottom out any further there is an opportunity to buy quality stocks.
