The India VIX (Volatility) index was up 3.6% to 18.22. Out of 1,749 stocks traded on the NSE, 932 declined and 529 advanced today. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down 0.13% at 10,975, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading down 0.75% at 11,319.
