Best PMS services in India

Hi

We have a special section here for best advisory services in the country, is it possible to have a special review for PMS services in the country ? I have read somewhere that is close to a 5 billion industry with min. entry level of 25 lakhs.

One keeps hearing names like Ramdeo Agarwal,Basant Maheshwari,Porinju Etc but no feedback on clients experiences with various such services.

Would be great if we could review them in this thread but forum admins should consider a separate category for this particular investment avenue.

That sounds very good. In the net I didn't see anything bad about them. There is an article in Moneylife (3 years old) which does a comparative performance of PMS. Does anyone know about any newer comparative analysis of PMS?

I am currently investing through a PMS based in mumbai, happy to share name at a personal level, they have given a return of 70% after a time period of 2 yrs and i am happy with their performance.

on Porinju Eq intelligence, i have investment since dec 2015, however i have not yet even crossed the investment amount which i have made of 25 lac and the value has even depleted to 22 lac
However i am confident about his investments with a long term horizon.

other please share their experience.

Can you please name the Mumbai based PMS?

 

Return in Porinju's EQ will be different for different investors. They buy the stocks in you name and the selection of stocks and buying price will be different for different investors unless they join on the same date. Within a day or two of joining, they will buy for the complete amount and will not wait for dips etc. in the market.

 

Did any body experienced Vijay Kedia trading service or Sana Securities. If so please share..

 

When market is booming, every one looks like expert but when tide turn, many of same experts sink money,like there is no bottom. Large amount of money was lost in last crash of 2008,as many were betting big on infra stocks . So only in down turn, you know who was swimming naked. Now you may not know, who is flying aeroplane and who is flying glider (not having engine). So my advice is to rely on only those who had proven history of protecting (not only claiming) down side also. With due respect to Real Gurus and Genuine Experts, but small investors need to be beware of Jhola Chap doctors of this profession . If small investors can not differentiate,it is better to go to mutual fund. There is more transparency in terms of comparing fund houses and schemes.

Agree with Raj18. Please post the name of the PMS on the forum, informing people only through PM's looks fishy to me.

I rather trust a Porinju or Basant Maheshwari with a proven track record rather than a PMS whose name you cannot even mention on a public forum.
