The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened over 300 points up in early trade on Friday. At 9.20 am, Sensex was up 342.98 points at 26,574.17. Similarly, Nifty was up 101.45 points at 8,050.40 during the same time.

Aurobindo Pharma: The company on Thursday said that it has received approval from the US health regulator to market generic Entecavir tablets, used to treat hepatitis B, in the American market.
Tata Motors: The largest commercial vehicles manufacturer on Thursday launched a new model of its successful small pick-up truck Ace and said it expects the LCV segment to pick up in six months from now.
Adani Enterprises: Reacting to the reports that Adani and SunEdison may drop joint venture plans, the company on Thursday clarified that the memorandum of understanding (MoU), which it entered with the US-based SunEdision to set up a solar photovoltaic manufacturing facility in Gujarat, is still in force.
ONGC: State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) on Thursday said it has received a one-year extension to explore in a Vietnam oil block in the contested waters of the South China Sea. It had in May applied to the Vietnamese authorities for a third extension of the exploration licence for deepsea Block 128 to maintain India’s strategic interest in the South China Sea.
HDFC: Country’s largest mortgage lender has raised Rs 2,000 crore through sale of bonds in order to boost lending operations and meet its future capital needs. The bonds, which has a tenure of five years, attracted a a coupon rate of 8.5 per cent.
Vedanta: The mining conglomerate on Thursday said it has started the closure process of one of its production stream, which will lead to the Lanjigarh facility’s output declining to half and impacting up to 2,000 jobs.
Lupin: Drug firm Lupin has received approval from US health regulator USFDA to market generic Omeprazole delayed-release capsules, used to treat ulcer, in the American market.
