The India VIX (Volatility) index was down 1.36% to 15.8650. A total of 57 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trades today, while 19 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. Out of 1,763 stocks traded on the NSE, 781 declined and 735 advanced today.
