At Mumbai’s Kanheri Caves (see below), a family enjoys an outing while a family of monkeys keeps them company. The Kanheri Caves (see below) were cut of the hill by Buddhist monks between the 1st BC to 4th BC. There are intricate carvings inside the caves. Today, the caves provide shelter to numerous bats and monkeys.
