Kshitij Anand of ET has pointed out that though the S&P BSE Sensex has rallied 25 per cent, the BSE Small and Mid-cap index has outperformed the benchmark index by rallying over 50 per cent each in the financial year 2015.
He also points out that due to the correction most of the quality midcap stocks are available at cheaper valuations.

He points out that the sharp decline in these stocks in the recent sell-off has given fund managers the perfect excuse to purchase them aggressively.
Deven Choksey states “A host of midcap stocks and some of the good quality midcaps, which have corrected significantly, are looking quite attractive at current levels.”
