If you study the recent stock picks of Hem Securities, you will be astonished at how consistently they have been successful and the extent of their success.
Obviously, their ace stock pickers, Vineeta Mahnot & Astha Jain, have a magic formula of some sort.
Let’s do a quick review of the performance of their stock picks:
Stock | Reco Date | Reco Price | CMP on 14.05.2014 (Rs) | Gains (%) |
Vaibhav Global | 23.08.2013 | Rs. 176 | 750 | 328 |
31.10.2013 | Rs. 288 | 161 | ||
Suven Life Sciences | 12.10.2013 | Rs. 46 | 87 | 87 |
Tata Elxsi | 25.11.2013 | Rs. 253 | 510 | 102 |
Fiem Industries | 14.12.2013 | Rs. 327 | 455 | 39 |
Himatsingka Seide | 07.01.2014 | Rs. 61 | 63 | – |
Va-Tech Wabag | 11.03.2014 | Rs. 691 | 891 | 30 |
AIA Engineering | 06.05.2014 | Rs. 642 | 612 | (4.67) |
What you can see is that out of the seven stock picks, two of the stock picks (Vaibhav Global & Tata Elxsi) have given a return in excess of 100% while three (Suven, Fiem & Va-Tech Wabag) have given a return of 30% and above. One stock (Himatsingka Seide) is flat. The last stock pick (AIA Engineering) was announced just a few days ago and is yet to fire.
Va-Tech Wabag was recommended just 60 days ago. A 30% surge in such a short period is incredible by any standards.
Now, it is obvious that such consistent out-performance in the stock market is not the result of sheer luck or coincidence. Hem Securities and, in particular, Vineeta Mahnot & Astha Jain, appear to have developed a technique by which they are able to identify stocks that are on a cusp of a breakout.
Whatever the technique is, we have to take advantage of their superior stock picking skills.
Speaking for myself, I got interested in AIA Engineering when I noticed that a number of savvy stock pickers like Nalanda Capital, Prashant Jain, Kenneth Andrade, Mathews India Fund, David Nadel’s Royce Fund, etc were quietly cornering the stock.
Surely, a confluence of so many savvy stock pickers in a stock means that something good is cooking. So, I have been nibbling on the stock in a slow and steady manner.
Now that Hem Securities have also arrived at the scene and recommended AIA Engineering as a Buy, my confidence has got more boosted and I am taking a mouthful of the stock.
