Ranbir Kapoor | 68.60 |
Katrina Kaif | 63.75 |
Hrithik Roshan | 62.50 |
Not surprisingly, Shah Rukh Khan rules the roost with an annual income of Rs. 220 crore.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the cricket super star, came a distant second with an income of Rs. 157 crore. Salman Khan was hot on his heels with an annual income of Rs. 155 crore.
Amitabh Bachchan, who suffered crippling losses by investing in dubious companies and who also made multibagger profits from JustDial, took home an income packet of Rs. 147 crore.
What is interesting is that a lot of youngsters have also stormed the rich list. Virat Kohli, just 25 years of age, and known for his aggression on the cricket field, has snatched away an income of Rs. 57 crore. He has come with touching distance of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar who took home a package of Rs. 94 crore.
Keeping Virat Kohli company in the newcomers’ list are Ravindra Jadeja, Shikhar Dhawan, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Ranveer Singh.
What is surprising is that Navjot Singh Sidhu has also sneaked into the list thanks to his new found career as a TV personality.
The disappointing aspect is that a number of yesteryear stars have not made the cut. Virendra Sehwag is out of the rich list due to his poor form in the field of cricket. Surprisingly, Kareena Kapoor has kept him company despite her series of block buster hits. Even Kamal Haasan, the thespian, lost out, probably due to the box-office debacle of Vishwaroopam.
This reminds me of the great Rajnikanth. How come he is not anywhere in the Forbes Rich List? Probably there is no list big enough to measure his wealth (Hyuk Hyuk Hyuk)!!
