Heading the list of rogues’ gallery is Kingfisher Airlines, founded by Vijay Mallya, the “King of Good Times”. Kingfisher Airlines’ outstanding is shown at Rs 2,673 crore, which appears to be an understatement if you go by the press reports.
How Vijay Mallya can still shamelessly pose with bikini clad models for the Kingfisher Calender is one of the great mysteries of life. He is a failed businessman and should be hiding his face in a rat hole instead of shamelessly flaunting it.
Second in the rogues’ gallery is Winsome Diamond & Jewellry which has effortlessly swallowed Rs 2,660 crore of hard earned money of the poor public.
The others in the rogues’ gallery are worthies like Electrotherm India, Zoom Developers, Sterling Biotech, and S Kumars Nationwide with amounts exceeding Rs 1,500 crore against each of them.
These rogues have mastered the art of taking advantage of banks by bribing their officials and taking loans at easy rates which they have no intention of repaying.
It is a sorry state of affairs that in our country, you are considered to have “arrived” if you have outsmarted your creditors and siphoned off funds.
All in all, the report makes for depressing reading and you wonder why you are a honest and diligent tax-paying citizen when the rogues are making merry and cavorting with bikini clad models.

Absolutely True and depressing. Stop paying tax henceforth. Best way to avoid those depressions.
