It is well known that Shankar Sharma is rabidly anti-NAMO and anti-establishment in his views.
The reason for Shankar’s pathological hatred for NAMO can be traced to the fact that during the previous NDA regime, he was arrested and put in jail for 74 days for various alleged offences. “If the BJP had continued in power, I would have either been killed or died of a stroke” Shankar had then said.
One can find Shankar frequently trumpeting the cause of those who are under attack from the establishment.
“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” appears to be Shankar’s belief.
Shankar also takes periodic pot shots at NAMO. His latest stance is that “too much FDI in some sectors is a mistake”. He claimed that “Jawaharlal Nehru’s policy to emphasize on domestic ownership of foreign entities was a masterstroke”. Shankar also called the liberal FDI policy “stupid” on the basis that it permitted Amazon to come into the Country and throttled Flipkart’s chances of growing rapidly.
When some NAMO Bhakts questioned his stance, Shankar tore them apart and showered them with the choicest of abuses. He called them “twitter jihadis” and “Gandi naali ke keeday”:
@RohanDoshi9801 nahi bey….tum jaise Twitter jihadis ki 37+:-;+:+:-:=!#!=/-6-: kar raha tha. Gandi naali ke keedey. Chal dafa ho cockroach

Vijay Mallya, the former Billionaire, who is presently in hiding in London to avoid being arrested for alleged siphoning of bank loans, is the latest beneficiary of Shankar’s munificence.
Shankar claimed that Vijay Mallya has “made us proud as an Indian to have built one of the largest spirits companies in the world” and that the losses suffered by him were the result of normal “risk taking”.
“Here is a man who took a risk. It went bad. And lost almost everything he had. Still wants to pay back principal plus some interest. But we don’t want that. We want his blood, not money. What kind of lynch-mob perversity is this?” Shankar asked, his voice choked in emotion.
“I fear for genuine risk-taking in our society if this is going to be our attitude towards entrepreneurs.” Shankar added.
We will have to check whether Shankar’s sympathy for Vijay Mallya still stands strong or it has waned a bit after United Spirits made the sensational allegation that Vijay Mallya had siphoned off a whopping sum of Rs. 1,225 crore from the Company to fund various activities such as Force India Formula 1 etc.

Ironically, while Shankar is losing sleep over Vijay Mallya and worrying about the impact on risk-taking by entrepreneurs, the former “King of good times” is himself not unduly perturbed at his state of affairs.
Instead, he has taken a philosophical view of the circumstances:
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain – Vivian Greene. One of my favourites!

Vijay is also making the best of the situation by attending Formula 1 races and having a good time:

Sadly, Mallya’s partying in London whilst absconding from the law did not go down well with former Kingfisher airlines who hold a grudge against him for not paying them their salaries. They called him “shameless”.

“Genuine risk-taking entrepreneur”? Is that what Vijay Mallya is? I wonder how many genuine entrepreneurs would agree to this. When Indian companies are continuously striving to take the earning and profit to a new level, this guy lived and still living a lavish life style, even failed to pay the salary to his employees and have propelled the lenders to a sorry state. The Government is still struggling to get hold of him. By doing so he has set a perfect example for all those so called genuine entrepreneurs who can have the citizenship of a foreign country and escape India after committing fraud. Mr.Sharma is just spitting the venom that he couldn’t digest 12 years back. Nothing more than that.
Anyone here take what Shankar Sharma says seriously ?
yes
he needs to be more mindful. he has paid lot of taxes and this company was floated by his father and he took it to such heights. his mistake he took to aviation industry which is a loss making org. even jet is in loss .had jet not ollabrated with Abu dhabhi etihad and royal family it too would have faced the same fate. So it is not that he has eaten the money.it is that king fisher airlines went in loss. he still have more that usd 1 billion shares and property worth billions in india . so do not worry indian money will go no where. every body is excited to punish him and nobody wants a solution
Yes. Very Seriously. No-nonsense person.
yes – i do
i think -compared to some of the other businessmen in Steel, shipping, oil and gas, construction , textiles and diamond merchants – Mr.Mallya at least had a very profitable business going-There are people in the Indian business community with more than 20000 crores in loans and no way of returning it but hidden behind a curtain of lies and influence.
His airline business went bankrupt taking with it the other businesses. He is ready to return the principal amount- He has to be given a fair chance to be represented.as far as his life style is concerned -that is his personal life-you cannot interfere in that
Vijay Mallya is and was always a dumb businessman. Suffice to say that all that was achieved by his venerable father Vittal Mallya from the 1950-1980 was undone by Viay Mallya.
This reminds me of days of Whitaker whitty the man responsible for one of the most prestigious railway project in London who seeded the improvement and still was a victim of fate. The estimate escalated due to escalation of concrete and building materials and he could not manage. This happened to Henry Du Pont though brilliant enough to extract gold from Utah clay he would have started a prestigious Metallurgical company failed miserably though he succeed in extracting first batch of gold stripes out of his furnace and yet nature was against he could get the proper clay of ore as there was some excavation difficulty. In all such cases Palmist Cheiro was the witness as these people consulted him for a cruel strange fate of a failure.Every thing is time. Some times genuine risk taking people are cheated why we don’t know before the enigmatic nature God.This happened to Clarence Harty the financial genius of LondonCheiro met once during a dinner party.By one of those unaccountable flashes of intuition Cheiro sometimes had he said my host :”That man at the end of the table is at the verge of disaster and disgrace. Can you not warn him he is going headlong to his doom!”.His friends were shocked.”Why that man is Clarence Harty ,”they said.”He is the richest and best known financier in London. You must be made to have such an idea,
In any case ,within about a month from that date Clarence Harty was arrested for swindling thebank of England of an enormous sum of money.Although he pleaded guilty ,he received the heavy sentence of fourteen years hard labour.India is a strange corruptible country where you can do any jugglery go to a foreign country and live happily .God save our country.Th cheating numerology number play a strange fatality in case of December born number 7 people and Hatry was a clear example as it states that as they incline to lose heavily i their investments i their advance years ,become victim of unscrupulous company promoters,or over reach themselves in their schemes.Vijay Maliah has aalso fallen on the same group.
Dear admin,
its better to not consider shankar sharma when everyone knows he is alive on hate . I am astonished to see the language used by this person , it shows he do not deserve any respect and attention . Its better to keep our forum clean and do not give any importance to this creature .
Best regards,
Prashant
it is indeed victim of fate,a matter of time
I fully agree with Shanker Sharma that allowing 100% FDI in sectors like Defence is not right.More over India don’t need any Majorty stake by foreigners in insurance, retail, aviation and many more. All these FDI in non essential sectors will create Future East India Compnies. No need to give free hand to foreigners.FDI can only be allowed in very high tech sectors that too by 49% only More over BJP has opposed FDI in 10 year rule of UPA and had also stalled GST and Modi was in forefront of all that Oppostion.I don’t know where are those followers of Swadeshi who have disappeared with out trace but were busy in opposing liberalisation of UPA.But Vijay Malaya case seems to be of mismanagement of business and diverting of bank funds, but defintlly concerned authorities must come out with truth and if he has done wrong, must be punished to set an example.
OSSSS…Oh So Sorry, Shankar Sharma! Feeling really sad for you after seeing the language you are using against people, whoever they are. I thought you were a professional with patience with knowledge and ability of communication. There are ways to drive home your point, without getting personal (even if the other side, generally referred to as Bhakts, resorts to bad language as expected).
Two points I want to mention about your ‘views’ only (not praising or attacking you personally):
One, on Vijay Mallya – the word to use is not Risk Taking. It is Boot Licking. And he knows to lick, like many crony capitalists, whoever is in govt – whether UPA or BJP. The other art he knows is “Siphoning”, which too, all crony capitalists do – borrow in one company’s name, move it to another and wash hands when that other company goes bust.
Current govt has allowed him to go out freely, and he will return on favourable terms and conditions that will be provided by the current govt.
Second, I largely agree with SS views on Modi govt policies. In short, this govt is squeezing the giver (middle class and poor through direct/indirect taxes and high prices of essentials) and giving in to the squeezers (Adani, Ambani, going soft on black money holders) – just like the previous UPA govt!
UPA’s corruption issues came to light through CAG reports taken up strongly through the activism of eminent persons like Prashant Bhushan, but the current government has been very successful in suppressing the same – like the recent 45000 crore benefit scam to the Telecom industry – by controlling the Media. Whenever such issues come up, Media takes out trivial issues and sits on them for a couple of days to divert attention of people. How long they will succeed, we have to wait and watch.
SERIOUSLY???
SS should have us hang the small guys for unpaid debts but please please release the big fish so they can continue partying.
Come on all of you GROW UP. You have to understand business. Where did all the money go . LALL THE MON EY INVOLVED is of King fisher airlines. The airline is in loss .It is a Public limited company. So Vijay is liable only for the loss AS PER RULES of his share. Because he comes up as the flamoboyant chairman he is suffering .NOW THIS IS WRONG. You need to know how business is run and what are the rules,. vijay Mallaya is owner of Kingfisher say 20% so his liablity is only 20% of Rs 9000 crore loan .Not more .UNDERSTAND THIS FIRST. Now you can not ask him legaally to give Rs 9000 .This is not loan .This is bill payment of fuel and much more. Now we have to find a solution to thsi. So the banks need to waive the interest .I know this is loss but they do it for farmers ,they do it for individuals and they do it in rare cases and this is a rare case.
So all the share holders would need to bear the balance balance. Vijay has to pay the loss from his share holding and property which he has plenty and his share would not be more than Rs 1000 crore . You have to give him a chance.
I remeber travelling in KING FISHER AIRLINES AND IT WAS THE FINEST IN THE WORLD. I travel across the Globe for 180 days ina year and i have travelled almost all the good airlines, including , British airways, american ,delta, swiss and emirates. King fisher services were better than even emirates but this is KARMA . His flights went empty from Delhi to London and Dubai where as Stupid airlines were overbooked
I knew that time that he was in Trouble.
This was the duty of his country men to support him by flying KINGFISHER and support him .Had you done that today this would not have been the case.
Now we all should wake up and help him come back.If you want the money he has to come back and let him come back with dignity.Remember he has done no CRIMEHe has not eateen the salary of EMPLOYEES OF KINFGFISHER ,IF SOMEBODY HAS EATEN IT IS THE SYSTEM OF iNDIAN GOVT. You made it so awful and wanted to arrest him for flimsy ground. He had no choice . Remember if there wasa serious ground against him even British govet would have helped indian govt. Indian govt also knows that technically there is no crime involved .So let us pray that everything happens in the best way and better sense prevails to ALL OF US
Am I the only one who thinks people writing an essay in comment is kind of waste of time.
